recently, the taiwan bsmi has issued a revised announcement of legal inspection with textile products. the revised announcement provides that baby clothes and some textiles which can direct contact with the skin, such as bedding, towels, etc., must be conformed to the requirements of the inspection before on the market. special attention must payed to products to children under 12, the content of nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (npeo) and nonylphenol (np) must be less than 1000 mg/kg in the products . the revised announcement has been went into force on july,1 ,2014.
