after the multi-study,the canada government recently issued a final order classifying bisphenol a (bpa) as a toxic substance to be added to schedule 1 of the canada environmental protection act (cepa), so far, the schedule 1 has increased to 80 categories of substances. ministers of the canada health and environment departments will now propose regulations or instruments to manage both human health and environmental risks posed by the substance and finalise them by 16 april 2012 (cw 27 august 2010).
