on 2nd, may 2018, new sor/2018-83 (the link is as below) has been published on the canada gazette (part ii). and the new regulation will come into force on 2nd, november 2018, while the old edition sor/2010-273< consumer products containing lead (contact with mouth) regulations>will be invalid.
compared to the old edition, the new one has extended the scope of products. the details can be seen in the table as bellow.
