eu, usa, canadaand australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of information and measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health and safety of consumers. notification in 2019 report 11 on textile & leather products is presented in the following table. there were total 31 notifications in november with 9 notifications from china. notifications of products mainly involve children’s sweatshirts, jackets, trousers, cardigan,dress, girls' bikini setwith injuries and strangulation, children’s shoes and baby rompers with chocking hazard, toiletry bag containing excessive phthalate, wallet containing excessive sccps. leather bracelet containing excessive lead. leather scarf , leather breeches and children’s shoes containing excessivecr (vi).
