in order to protect consumer legitimaterights, the european union, usa, canada, australia together with other countries in the world has established special notification systems to provide information of products which may cause risk to people health and safety.
a total of 29 notifications of children’s toys were declared in eu rapex, 3 notification in healthy canadians official website, no notification in cpsc official website or australian product safety recalls official website during the 43rd and the 44th week of 2019. up to 28 notifications of children’s toys are from china among all those notifications.toys were notified because ofcontaining or releasing small parts easily, high phthalates content etc.. some toys were notified for more than one reason.
