eu, usa, canadaand australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of information and measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health and safety of consumers. notification in 2019 report 10 on textile & leather products is presented in the following table. there were total 19 notifications in october with 10 notifications from china. notifications of products mainly involve children’sdress , jacket ,sweatshirt andchildren's clothing set with injuries and strangulation, infant bibs and striped romper with chocking hazard, children’s nightwear with flammability hazard, children’s sandals containing excessive cr(vi), wallet containing excessive sccps.
