eu, usa, canadaand australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of information and measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health and safety of consumers. notification in 2019 report 08 on textile & leather products is presented in the following table. there were total 19 notifications in august with 6 notifications from china. notifications of products mainly involve children’sdress and shirt , girls' dress andjumpsuit, children's rainsuit with injuries and strangulation, children's clothing set with chocking hazard, bath robes , pyjamas, short sleeve,cardigan,sweet & soft pants, sleepwear with flammability hazard, hiking sandals containing excessive cr(vi),underwearcontaining excessive nickel.
