eu, usa, canadaand australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of information and measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health and safety of consumers. notification in 2019 report 07 on textile & leather products is presented in the following table. there were total 36 notifications in july with 9 notifications from china. notifications of products mainly involve
children’s trousers and dress, girls 'bikini set and swimsuit with injuries and strangulation, children’s trousers and dress, infant sock, children’s sun hats with chocking hazard,children’s pajamas, infant sleep bags and pyjama set with flammability hazard, leather gloves containing excessive cr(vi), children’s shoes containing excessive nickel.
