eu, usa, canada and australia have established rapid alert systems to facilitate the rapid exchange of informationand measures taken to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of products posing a serious risk to the health andsafety of consumers. notification in 2019 report 05 on textile & leather products is presented in the following table.there were total 24 notifications in may with 8 notifications from china. notifications of products mainly involvechildren’s trousers, baby jacket with choking hazard, girls' sleeveless t-shirt, children's blouse and trousers,children's jacket, girls' swimsuit with strangulation and injuries risk, children’s sleep sacks and sleepwear, baby’sbodysuits and rompers with flammability hazard, leather gloves and leather shoes containing excessive cr (vi).
